There’s a compact all-French wine list that covers all the bases more than adequately. Prices start at €7.50 a glass for a very respectable rosé from the Côtes du Duras, Domaine des Allegrets. There’s an interesting Pinot Gris/Pinot Blanc blend from Alsace at €8.50/€38, and a decent Chablis at €12/€54. My top pick in the whites, however, is the Domaine de la Bretonnière Chardonnay (pictured) from the Loire at €36. There’s a chunky, spicy Costières de Nîmes red at €8.50/€38, a good Morgon from Beaujolais at €42, Laurent Gauthier, and my top pick in the reds, Clos du Pontet Montagne-Saint-Emillion 2016, which is drinking beautifully just now.
