We were more than happy with the two wine specials on the blackboard: Saint Fiacre Chardonnay from the Loire and Ciello Rosso Nero d’Avola, pictured, both at a very keen €26.50 a bottle. Other possibilities include the white Zagarron blend from Spain at €7.50 a glass or €30 a bottle, the light and juicy Ca’ di Alto Pinot Nero from the Veneto at the same price, and the superior Montepulciani d’Abruzzo Gran Sasso €10/€39. They do a good Negroni and Margarita for €11 and Sierra Nevada beer is €6.50.
