I had to pinch myself when I first tasted this Chilean red from the cool Casablanca Valley because it tastes way dearer than €9. Think juicy raspberry and cherry fruit with a touch of spice, lovely concentration, quite ripe but with sound tannins. Almost too good for a barbecue but I’ll make an exception.
