START SMALL WITH A HERB GARDEN

Easy and cost-effective, a herb garden is a great way to experiment with plant life while adding greenery. ‘Herbs such as mint [seen here], rosemary, basil and lemon balm are delicious in food and in cocktails,’ says Henrietta, ‘but also they smell amazing in a smaller space. If that works well, take the next step and try ready-grown baby fruit and vegetable plants, such as courgettes and squash, which you can just pop into a pot and water.‘
