Dr Abigail Langton, lecturer in the ethnic skin division of dermatolog­ical sciences at the University of Manchester

Langton is part of the academic team working with No7 and was involved in the clinical biopsy study at the Salford Royal hospital. She has looked at the impact of the environmen­t across different ethnicitie­s.

Dr Ellie Bradley, senior scientist, No7

Bradley has worked on peptide research for 13 years. ‘It’s rare as a scientist to create something new that really does work.’

Dr Roboh Borke, cell culture manager, No7

Borke has been testing peptides on skin cells, developing new ways to discover all the things they can do. ‘I’m particular­ly impressed with the rigorous scientific research that went into the creation of this product.’

Bev Elms, formulatio­n technologi­st, Boots

Elms has been working on the developmen­t of Future Renew since 2019. She loves working with robots to create formulatio­ns.

Amanda Allen, controlled & consumer study manager, No7

Allen has spent more than 20 years as part of the product performanc­e testing team, and manages a panel of around 80,000 consumers globally that No7 regularly consults. ‘This was our most extensive and diverse testing programme ever. I feel proud of what we have achieved in helping consumers feel like the best version of themselves.’

Lavinia Moxley, head of global beauty academy, No7

Moxley follows a tradition of education begun by Florence Boot, wife of Boots founder Jesse. She has created educationa­l content for the No7 Beauty Company for 1,600 beauty advisors.

Kelli Hearst, global product director, No7

Hearst has been working on Future Renew for the past three years. ‘These products are not just marketing fluff – the research and proof are outstandin­g.’
