A very fashionable tea

The K Club’s seasonal afternoon tea launch returns on 18 April, with a salon fashion show from Curated by Design Centre at Kildare Village. featuring some of Ireland’s best loved designers.

Synan O Mahony, Sookyoung Song, Melissa Curry, Catriona Hanly, Cobbler’s Lane, Six Roads and The

Linen Shirt Company will be making bespoke pieces exclusively for the show, while Paul Costelloe will be showing some never-before-sold pieces from his runway collection that is exclusive to Curated by Design Centre.

The afternoon tea will include a savoury tier with finger sandwiches and soft brioche buns filled with soft buttery egg & cress; moreish chicken & truffle; smoked salmon with crème fraiche & lemon; and cucumber & cream cheese.

There will also be exquisite pastries such as white chocolate tube with whipped raspberry; Irish fresh strawberry tart with lemongrass compote & strawberry mousse; lemon drizzle cake with blackberry jam, dark chocolate & whipped cream; and pistachio, raspberry, vanilla & hazelnut baton cake.

Of course, no afternoon tea would be complete without fresh scones with cream, lemon curd and raspberry jam.
