Host Fearne is pregnant, and relieved people are cottoning on

PREGNANT with her first child with boyfriend Jesse Wood, bubbly host Fearne Cotton says she is delighted to be able to finally talk about her mum-to-be status. The radio and TV presenter announced the happy news online earlier this month.

It will be the third child for musician and former model Jesse Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.

Speaking of her baby joy, Fearne, pictured, said: ‘I’ve had so many tweets and text messages.

‘I’m just over the moon. It’s so lovely that everyone has been so very sweet.’

The BBC Radio One host added: ‘I have to admit, obviously like any other woman who is going through it (pregnancy) or has been – you have the f i rst three months, where you can’t tell anyone and you’re puking, you look awful and it’s a big secret.

‘So when you get to say you’re pregnant, it’s such a lovely relief. It really is. And it’s a big release as well. I was so over the moon to tell everyone – I was a proper emotional wreck after telling everyone.

‘It’s been a crazy emotional time.’

The TV presenter has been dating Wood since last July. And the radio DJ has spoken of her delight at her relationship with SHE is the new face of Doc Marten’s but model Agyness Deyn has admitted to having a long-term love of the sturdy shoes. The model said she bought a pair when she was 13. ‘I wanted to rebel against my parents and they were the coolest boots I could get away with wearing to school,’ she said. Wood after a tempestuous on-off romance with former fiancé, Jesse Jenkins.

She dated the Californian skateboarder for three years before their split last year and started dating another Jesse just two months after they broke up.

Speaking in May, Fearne admitted: ‘This time last year, I was probably quite miserable, but Jesse (Wood) turned that around. I’m content for the first time ever – it’s a really good feeling.’

Guitarist Ronnie, 65, has also given his seal of approval, saying: ‘Fearne’s a beautiful girl. They’re lovely together. I very much approve. She’s rock ’n’ roll. I do wonder if she’ll become my daughter-in-law any time soon.’ Clearly Ronnie sees Fearne as a stabilising force on his son, who had a stint in rehab last year. Jesse also has an eight-yearold son, Arthur, and a daughter, Lola, aged four, with his ex, model Catherine ‘Tilly’ Boone.
