Yes, I A.M. a mum again, reveals overjoyed TV3 presenter Anna

IRELAND AM presenter Anna Daly should have no trouble adjusting to the early morning starts she will face after becoming a mother for the second time.

Anna and her Scottish husband Ben Ward welcomed their second son, Euan, into the world on Monday night.

Euan weighed in at 8lbs 11 ounces, a spokesman confirmed yesterday.

Euan will be brother to their first child James Scott, who was born in 2011, and a spokesman for TV3 revealed: ‘They wanted to choose a Scottish name this time around.

‘Everyone is delighted, both mother and the little boy are doing great.’

Anna’s TV3 colleague Kirsteen O’Sullivan, who is also a Scot, shared her warm wishes on Twitter, writing: ‘Congrats on the birth of baby Euan, great wee Scottish name too! Exciting times Xxx.’

Model and expectant firsttime mother Pippa O’Connor added: ‘Huge congrats Anna – wonderful news.’

And actress Leigh Arnold, who is also expecting her second child , wrote: ‘Brill news, well done Honey #not far behind you’

A popular member of the breakfast show team, the presenter worked throughout much of her pregnancy. At t he t i me, she said that having a child already meant that she knew what to expect. Anna said: ‘It is much easier, because you’re more laid-back about everything.

‘You are not surprised by what happens so that you’re not constantly obsessing about it.’ Anna added: ‘I’ve only ever wanted two children and close in age too, so it’s amazing. I don’t have a preference on gender at all, but I feel like I’ll be the mum of boys.’
