IT’S TOP secret

-

WHO IS YOUR ALL-TIME SPORTING HERO? I’d have a few but Roy Keane (below) would probably be the top one. I’m a big Man United fan. I was lucky enough to meet him and he didn’t disappoint. Absolute legend. ANY PARTICULAR CAREER HIGHLIGHT? Anytime I’m lucky enough to play for Cork. I know it sounds cheesy but I love playing in goals for Cork. Winning the All-Star last year was great for me and my family. WHAT ABOUT A WORST MOMENT IN YOUR CAREER? Being left off the panel for Cork games over previous years was hard to take after training all year. That’s why I’ll never take being selected on the team for granted. BIGGEST MESSER IN THE DRESSING ROOM? We would have a few. Tom Kenny is always throwing digs at fellas, Stephen McDonnell is an absolute messer as well and always puts a smile on lads’ faces with outrageous comments. s. But there is a young panel there so there is always a good buzz. BIGGEST FASHION DISASTER? Jesus tough one! My club-mate Lorcán McLoughlin came out one night wearing a terrible outfit but he has improved since. Paudie O’Sullivan fancies himself as a fashion icon as well, but he just copies Pa Cronin. YOUR KARAOKE SONG? I sound like two crows fighting g when I sing so I tend to stay y away from the karaoke machine. But if I had to I would say Queen’s

BohemianRhapsody so that I could cover my voice with the loud music! IDEAL DINNER DATE? Will Ferrell (right) for the laugh. Pixie Lott (below) could join us too if she wasn’t too busy! CAN YOU COOK? WHAT’S YOUR BEST DISH? I live about 500 metres from my home house so my mother spoils me but I make a mean chicken pasta bake. And I have also been complimented on my microwave bowl of porridge! FAVOURITE BOOK? I read a book about the Chilean miners (no GAA jokes about them being Under 21 next year). I can’t remember the name of it and I gave it away but it was a brilliant read about the conditions they had to deal with. I would read anything really but not a huge fan of fiction.

FAVOURITE FILM? The Departed is an unreal film. I’ve watched it a few times. I love AnchorMan as well. Deep down I’m very immature! HOLIDAY SPOT? Anywhere in America. I was in Boston, New York and San Francisco and loved it there. WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SPORTING AMBITION? I suppose like any hurler that doesn’t have one — to win an All-Ireland medal.
