Sven has shown he’s not a real man, says Nancy

- Irish Daily Mail Reporter

NANCY Dell’Olio has hit back at Sven-Göran Eriksson, telling him to ‘get a life’, after he revealed secrets of their relationship in his memoirs.

The Italian socialite, 52, said she was ‘shocked and saddened’ by the tell-all book, adding: ‘No real man would talk about women like that.’

In his autobiography, serialised in the Mail, former England manager Eriksson, 65, claimed his affair with Ms Dell’Olio had been a mistake. He also admitted for the first time that he had cheated on her with presenter Ulrika Jonsson.

But speaking to Hello magazine, Ms Dell’Olio said the memoirs were ‘malicious’. She said: ‘I haven’t read any of the book, but I’ve been told. I don’t know why he’s saying these things and being malicious. He clearly just can’t let what we had go. My advice to him would be, “Get a life and get over it”.’

She added: ‘Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, of course they are, but not to lie. For me it is a shame that I was with someone for nine years and yet I do not recognise this man at all. I find it shocking how he talks about using women. Does he think that is something to be proud of? No real man would talk about women like that.’

Ms Dell’Olio and Eriksson fought a seven-year legal battle over their former London home after they split up in 2006. She refused to move out of the £3.75million flat in Belgravia, claiming he had told her she could continue to live there.

He argued the arrangement was only temporary. The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant finally agreed to leave the apartment in April this year after Eriksson promised her £2million. Just months later, she moved back into another property on the same street, 100 yards away.
