Is Beyoncé a little mad for trad?

BEYONCÉ is looking to get jiggy with it during her stint in Ireland and hear some traditional music.

The pop superstar – who is performing the third of four shows in Dublin’s O2 arena tonight – went for a low-key meal on Sunday night, and inquired about a trad session.

Joined by her husband, Jay Z, for the meal at the hip restaurant, Fade Street Social, the maître d’, Marc Matthews revealed yesterday: ‘The two of them were in for dinner, they came in relatively late after the dining rush had gone. They really, really enjoyed everything and asked where was good to go for Irish music.

‘They had the place pretty much to themselves, so it was a nice romantic dinner for two. Obviously there were bouncers and bodyguards around, but they were love- ly. She came in and was wearing blue skinny leggings and a leather jacket- very nice and casual. We’re hoping to see them again.

‘She had the flatbread and he had a Denver roll, a rib-eye steak. They just chilled out and were some of the last people to leave. They were very low-key and lovely.’

The restaurant’s owner Dylan McGrath said: ‘They were really nice people, really cool.’

The show’s afterparty took place in Lillie’s Bordello but Beyoncé was spotted leaving the Grafton Lounge. The star’s dancers made the most of the occasion and were pictured in the venues.

Twitter was busy with hype about the gigs and one unofficial Beyoncé information feed posted a picture of the singer backstage in front of an Irish flag.

Former X Factor hopeful, Melanie McCabe, told her followers on the social network: ‘Beyoncé tmrow can’t wait #woooooo #exited.’

And Dublin rockers Kodaline, shared a picture of the concert on Sunday night and said: ‘So it

‘Best cure for jetlag is Beyoncé!’

turns out the best cure for Jetlag is Beyoncé! ’

While magician Derren Brown joked yesterday: ‘Frustratingly for Beyoncé, I see we’re both playing Dublin tonight. She must be furious at the clash. Such similar shows too.’
