WHY DID BRIAN PICK UP VOGUE ON THURSDAY NIGHT?
VOGUE Williams and Brian McFadden announced the end of their marriage this week – but he is still happy to be a dutiful chauffeur for his wife.
For McFadden, 35, was on hand on Thursday to collect his former wife from a work bash in London.
Williams, 29, was a guest at the annual ITV summer party in swanky Notting Hill – and after socialising with the great and the good from the station, she was whisked away in a car by McFadden.
Williams looked at ease as she was pictured walking to the former Westlifer and pointedly let the cameras see that she was not wearing her wedding ring.
And McFadden smiled as the couple drove off. McFadden is mainly living in the UK while Williams is now to spend her time travelling back and forth for work after she bought a home in her native Howth, Co. Dublin.
Following the purchase, she said: ‘It’s not my forever home but Howth is the only place I wanted to live and I see it as an investment.’
She is in talks for projects after she won Bear Grylls’s Mission Survive extreme adventure challenge series.
And back home, her latest RTÉ2 Reality Bites show Mean Girls is to air.
The programme follows her as she spends time in a prison in San Francisco.
An RTÉ spokesman said Williams was currently ‘ working on a new series of documentaries ’ . The Band: Vogue Williams ditches the ring couple’s agent, Dan Parker, yesterday declined to comment about Williams and McFadden’s relationship but said that she will be seen more on television screens overseas.
‘Her profile has definitely gone up and people know who she is from the Bear Grylls series earlier this year,’ Mr Parker said. ‘She’s got a good relationship with ITV.’ Days before the announcement of the split, former Fade St reet star Williams was pictured in Ibiza with Nadia Forde.
The two friends were booked for a photoshoot for Lipsy ahead of the clothing firm’s summer party and they stayed on to unwind for the weekend.
Forde, 25, said she was sad to hear the news of the marriage breakdown.
‘Look, Vogue is a good friend of mine, and obviously I just want her to be happy. I was with her in Ibiza about a week ago,’ Ms Forde said. ‘It’s always sad when these things happen but only [Vogue and Brian] know what’s best.’
