Another baby tossed from flat

AUTHORITIES say a six-month-old girl has died after being tossed from the window of a New York city apartment building – the third child thrown to her death in the city since August.

The NYPD said the baby died yesterday afternoon after being flung from a sixth-floor apartment in the Bronx.

A 25-year-old woman believed to be the child’s mother was in the apartment with four children at the time.

Three other uninjured children were taken to a hospital. Police say the woman was taken to the hospital for an evaluation. No charges have been filed.
