Netanyahu: I’ll meet Abbas

ISRAELI Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said yesterday he would be ‘ perfectly open’ to meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to end weeks of violent attacks on Israelis.

Mr Netanyahu, inset, said he had been speaking to US Secretary of State John Kerry about meeting Abbas. He said: ‘I think it’s potentially useful because it might stop the wave of incitement and false allegations against Israel.’
