MUM’S THE WORD

RESEARCH by Nurofen for Children shows that almost half of new mums do not know at what temperature a fever begins, (37.8°C). TV presenter and first-time mum Maia Dunphy has helped launch Nurofen for Children #FeverFighters campaign with one-year-old Sam McCarthy.

THE Nurofen for Children app will be available later this month to help mums and dads.

PATRIOT GAMES

ST PATRICK’S Day wouldn’t be complete without donning our national colour, and Aldi are on the case with a range of flags, hats and badges. Bring out the patriot in you with the Green and White Jester Hat (€2.49, pictured) or get creative with some Irish Flag Face Paint (99c per pack).

RAISE A GLASS

IF YOU are raising a glass to commemorate the Easter Rising, there’s no more appropriate drink than Arthurstown Brewing Company’s 1916 Proclamation Porter. This old-school Irish stout is brewed from native grains, grown in the very soil those brave Wexford men and women pledged to liberate. Expect notes of chocolate and coffee.
