26 years his junior, it’s Sean Bean’s wife No5

AS any television actor knows, some scenes take a few attempts to get just right.

And so it has proved for Sean Bean, with the 58-year-old making his fifth trip down the aisle on Thursday.

He married Ashley Moore, who is 26 years his junior, in a ceremony in Dorset, southwest England. The former nanny, 32, who wore an Alice Temperley dress, met Bean five years ago in New York. According to a spokesman, the guests were 40 ‘close family and friends’ – including actress Anna Friel, who stars with Bean in the BBC drama Broken.

The Game of Thrones star’s career has lasted rather longer than his marriages (he appeared in his first film, Caravaggio, in 1986). He wed his school sweetheart Debra James in 1981, then married Melanie Hill in 1990, Abigail Cruttenden in 1997, and actress Georgina Sutcliffe in 2008.
