Cut this year’s new shoots back to a spur, leaving no more than 15cm growth. The whole plant can be tidied and tied in so there are no trailing shoots. If in doubt about how hard to prune, err on the light side; you can do it again in the new year, reducing each side shoot to 5-15cm.
