Jungle call... Is this proof that Ant will be returning for I’m A Celebrity?

-

THIS year has been rife with rumours that Ant McPartlin won’t return to host the next series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! But broadcasters ITV have released a snippet teaser for the show – which returns to screens later this month – featuring both Ant AND his co-host Declan Donnelly’s voices screaming: ‘Let’s get ready to jungle!’

This is a nod to the duo’s 1995 hit Let’s Get Ready To Rumble – which hit the charts during their shortlived pop career.

The video sees a serene jungle landscape, suddenly interrupted by the sounds of the boys calling out the slogan, before flashing up the show’s social media details.

Ant is continuing his treatment in a post-rehab facility in Los Angeles, despite the launch of the show creeping closer, after his battle with depression and substance abuse.

A promotional shoot scheduled for earlier this month in London had to be delayed as Ant was unable to attend.

A source told The Sun: ‘It would have been the first day filming but with Ant away, there is no way they could get started.’

Lisa Armstrong, to whom Ant has been married since 2006, has stood by his side throughout his troubles – but they are now reported to be having problems of their own.

According to the Daily Star, Lisa was last month reportedly ‘ upset’ with Ant – who previously admitted he had put his wife ‘through hell with mood swings and depression’ – and that the pair are spending increasing amounts of time apart.

A source told the newspaper: ‘She’s had a rough year. And she’s made it clear it’s because of Ant. They’ve hardly been seen i n public together since he came back from rehab a month ago.’

The TV presenter, pictured with his wife of 11 years, previously credited Lisa for her ‘amazing’ and continued support throughout his troubles.

Ant returned home after addressing his health battl e and seeking out treatment by checking i nto rehab back in June.
