THE fresh-faced country singer has demonstrated that he is just at ease in front the cameras as he is at belting out renditions of his break-out hit Wagon Wheel. So it’s no surprise that Nathan Carter is back for a second series of his entertainment show. One of the reasons for his success is the easy nature and all-embracing curiosity he brings to his music, delighting in songs that range from country stars Dixie Chicks to rockers Green Day. And it’s this attitude that informs his choice of guests for this series. Tonight, Carter (pictured) is joined by former Westlife singer Shane Filan, singer Róisín O (herself the daughter of another singing legend, Mary Black) and the world’s leading hillbilly AC/DC tribute band (yes, there really is such a thing) – Hayseed Dixie.
