A new reality for Vogue... I’m having a baby!
VOGUE Williams and Spencer Matthews have announced they are expecting their first child.
The Dublin model and her soon-to-be husband shared their happy news on social media yesterday morning, just one month after they became engaged to be married.
Vogue, 32, wrote on Twitter: ‘I couldn’t be more delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby! Being with you @Spencer Matthews is the best thing that has ever happened to me, you are the dream.’ Meanwhile, the Made In Chelsea star wrote to his fans: ‘So... I’m going to be a father! Couldn’t be happier to be sharing these times with the love of my life. We feel truly blessed.’
Vogue has told Hello! Magazine about the moment the pair found out the news. She said: ‘We were together when we did the test, on holiday in the South of France over Christmas, and we were just like, “Wow”. Regardless of how long you plan it for or how long you’ve wanted it, it’s still like, “Oh my God!” It’s such exciting news.’
The mother-to-be, who is currently four months pregnant, also said she is feeling the effects of the first trimester, and has been suffering from morning sickness. Spencer, 28, confessed that the pair were already preparing to have a baby: ‘I think we were more taken aback by how quickly it had worked, as opposed to the fact we’re having a kid.
‘Because we had already begun to try. So I just considered myself the luckiest man in the world when we got the baby news. We were heading down that matrimonial road anyway, so now we feel doubly blessed.’
The pair managed to keep the news under wraps, with the blonde beauty stepping out on Thursday for the launch party of Folli Follie in London.
Despite donning a clingy number, the Bear Grylls: Mission Survive star still managed to conceal her growing bump.
Vogue and Spencer have been dating for just over a year, after meeting on the set of winter sports show The Jump in early 2017.
