Get the bus, Erin... your DWTS sister act is over
SHE was most famous for being Conor McGregor’s sibling, but it was curtains for the sister act of Dancing With The Stars last night as Erin exited stage left.
The fitness model crashed out despite scoring three nines from judges for her main performance.
It was the third time the blonde from Dublin had to undergo an elimination dance-off on the show. And it was to be third time unlucky, as she took on talented young gun Jake Carter.
Dancing to Niall Horan’s Slow Hands, the Scouse singer edged out Erin by one judge vote to go through to next Sunday’s final with comedian Deirdre O’Kane and camogie star Anna Geary.
Holding back tears after her elimination, Erin said: ‘I really didn’t believe in myself in the start... This competition has given me the realisation that I have more strength in me. Anyone at home that has a dream, never, never give up on it.’
In honour of St Patrick’s Day, it was Irish music night.
Erin and her partner, Ryan McShane, danced the samba to Rain by The Script, scoring a total of 27 points out of 30.
After elimination, Ryan apologised to Erin for not getting her to the final. ‘I danced my socks off,’ he said. Erin said that she had been feeling unwell for the last few days and that Ryan had helped carry her through her routines. ‘She’s been through a journey on the last few days,’ said Ryan.
