A fun-loving couple with a passion for motorbikes

-

THE couple tragically killed in a freak horse and cart accident embraced life and were devoted to their families.

Facebook pictures of Normand Larose (62) and partner Rosalyn Joy Few (64) show them to be family- and music-loving bikers having the time of their lives.

The couple had travelled from their home in Phoenix, Arizona, to Ireland at Easter with Ms Few’s daughter, son-inlaw and two grandchildren for a family holiday when the accident happened.

Mr Larose, is a French Canadian originally from Quebec, and still has family in the area. He appears to have been living in Arizona for over 20 years.

On her Facebook page, Joy Few, 64, appears a happy, fit grandmother with deep Christian values.

The grandmother worked as a data coordinator and administrative assistant at the Mayo Clinic hospital in Phoenix for nearly two decades and appears to have had a passion for rock bands and soul music.

As well as posting rock and soul favourites on her page she also posted religious quotes and blessings such as: ‘The nicest place 2 be is in someone’s THOUGHTS! The safest place 2 be is in someone’s PRAYERS! And the best place 2 be is in GOD’S Hands!’

Their Facebook pages show they were avid motorcycle fans, pictured working on bikes and going on biker trips.

Mr Larose’s niece in Quebec paid tribute to her uncle last night. ‘My uncle was a very happy person who loved life very much. He would want us to remember him with his smile and his jokes.’
