USUALLY a source of mockery, Dr Frankenstein’s assistant, Igor, is the focus (and narrator) of this retelling of Mary Shelley’s story. Daniel Radcliffe (pictured below) plays Igor, with James McAvoy as the ‘visionary’ he teams up with.

SET in Sixties Soho, this is an absorbing real-life murder mystery about the life and untimely death of a national boxing hero. The film delves into the world of UK and US organised crime to investigate the murder of Freddie Mills, a world champion boxer shot dead in 1965.
GROWN-UP DRAMA This Is Us, 9pm, More4
WE’RE back in tear-jerking territory in an episode that deals with brothers, and the revelation of a secret from Jack’s time in Vietnam. Kate has a secret, too, and deals with it in surprising ways, few of them pleasant – and she’s joined in that by Kevin, who is spiralling further into Jack territory with his drinking.
DARK REALITY Diabolical Women, 10pm, Really
THIS new series explores the dark minds of dangerous female predators who plan extraordinary crimes in order to get what they want. The opening episode focuses on Sante Kimes, the glamorous wife of a California millionaire, who brainwashed her son into becoming her partner in crime.
