McFadden: I miss the dog but speaking to Vogue is just pointless

-

THEY split three years ago after marrying in Florence in 2012 – and Brian McFadden has now broken his silence on his ex-wife Vogue Williams’s pregnancy with her new husband, Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews.

Although it was believed that the pair have been civil since their split in 2015, McFadden has since revealed that speaking to his ex-wife, pictured above right with him, would be ‘pointless’.

The singer, 38, told Closer magazine: ‘I don’t speak to Vogue any more either. It’s pointless. She’s married now and is having a baby.’

However, despite his reluctance to stay in contact with his former partner, he made sure to wish her well for her future family.

‘I am delighted for her and I hope she has a lovely family. [Spencer] is a great guy,’ the former Westlife singer said.

McFadden, who is now in a relationship with teacher Danielle Parkinson, admitted that what he misses most about his life with Vogue is her pet dog, Winston.

The couple once shared the pooch, however after attempting joint custody of the dog they agreed it made more sense for him to stay with Vogue, as Danielle is allergic to dogs. He said that not seeing Winston is the worst part as he was his best friend, adding that the pair were inseparable.

McFadden has been with Danielle for more than two years, while Vogue and Spencer, pictured right, began dating in 2017.

Vogue and Spencer married in an intimate ceremony in front of close friends and family two months before they are expected to welcome their first child into the world. The television presenter, 32, and the reality star, 28, tied the knot over at Spencer’s stunning 10,000-acre family estate, Glen Affric, in Cannich, Scotland.

Spencer’s brother James Matthews, 42, acted as best man while his brother-in-law James Middleton, 31, also made an appearance and delivered one of three readings during the romantic nuptials.
