LEINSTER CONCERN OVER DUO

- By JOHANN LUYT in Port Elizabeth

INJURIES were the main concern for Leinster boss Leo Cullen after his side secured a bonus-point win over the Southern Kings in a scrappy contest at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium yesterday. The victory extends the Pro14 champions’ lead at the top of Conference B but losing centre Rory O’Loughlin and winger Joe Tomane to first-half injury will be a worry, with updates expected today. With a host of players away on Ireland duty for the November series, Cullen brought a young side to South Africa and the experience of having to battle hard for this victory will stand to them. Flanker Dan Leavy, who will hope to feature for Ireland over the next two weeks, made his presence felt for the visitors and crossed for one of their five tries. Leinster’s next game is at home to Ospreys on November 23.
