BOSS CHECKS OUT OF LOWRY
HIS predecessor Jose Mourinho spent two-and-ahalf years holed up at the Lowry Hotel, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to check out after just one month as Manchester United manager. Solskjaer confirmed yesterday that he will shortly be moving out of his suite at the five-star hotel and into a new home, even though he is due to return to Norwegian club Molde in May. The bill for his short stay will be around £18,000 — much less than the £537,000 tab racked up by Jose Mourinho during his time as United manager. The 45-year-old caretaker boss said: ‘I’m still in the hotel but I’ve found a place so I won’t be too long. ‘I’ve got mates here and I’ve been to see a few of them, so it’s not like I’m stuck in the hotel on my own.’
