brains are biologically younger than men’s of the same age.

That’s the claim by US researchers who analysed the metabolic levels in the brain scans of over 200 adults and found women’s brains were, on average, three years younger than men of the same age.

They say this may help to explain why women experience less of a decline in thinking abilities as they age.
