Euro star Maria?

ON the basis that she once lent me her crown and sash to wear, I have a lot of time for feisty former Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh, pictured. Still, I’m a bit surprised by her decision to seek a European berth for Fine Gael. After the drama of The Dome and the media circus that surrounded her sexuality, I’d imagine the calmer waters of European politics will seem a trifle dull.
