A debs favourite ...at the Baftas!
RACHEL Weisz, left, collected a Bafta for her performance in historical drama The Favourite on Sunday, but her dress was a throwback to a different era – specifically the 1970s, and every debs ball in Dublin. I’m just relieved that she didn’t accessorise it with that other Seventies debs staple – a lacy garter keeping a cheeky can of Stag concealed from hotel bouncers’ eyes. Mind you, since Irish actor Barry Keoghan, right, appeared to be wearing a suit fashioned from my granny’s good curtains, I suppose it’s possible that the whole evening was 1970s-themed.
