Don’t wed man you’ve never met, Lohan tells mom

-

LINDSAY Lohan may have been unlucky in love, but the actress’s mother feels she has found the right person – even though they have never even met!

Dina Lohan has been chatting to the man online for five years... and even wants to marry him. Lindsay, 32, has warned her mother to watch out for a possible catfishing scam, a term made famous by an MTV show of the same name where longdistance relationships are investigated.

Responding to an online post about the US edition of Celebrity Big Brother where her 56-year-old mother is a contestant, Lindsay wrote: ‘@dinalohan so proud of you mommy! But no more weird #catfish. Please.’

The question of whether or not Dina was being duped by a trickster came up on a recent episode, when the celebrity mother revealed she was serious about the man she’d never met in person. Dina told housemates Kandi Burruss, Tamar Braxton and Natalie Eva Marie she is confident she will wed her ‘special someone’, who lives in San Francisco and takes care of his mother.

She said: ‘I can’t wait to tell you about this guy. I’ve been talking to him for five years. Like, every day. A lot. I feel like I know him.

‘You know when you talk to someone on the phone, like you feel like you know them? It’s personal. He’s real. I swear, it’s crazy. But I’m going to marry him. It’s really, really true. I talk to his ma.’

And while Kandi, Tamar and Natalie are concerned she is being catfished – which is where someone creates a fictional online persona to lure another person into a relationship – Dina, pictured, insists her man just doesn’t have a phone suitable for video calling.
