‘Puppy dog’ Liam has Valentine’s with Naomi

-

LOVED-UP Liam Payne, left, spent a romantic Valentine’s Day with his new girlfriend Naomi Campbell as friends say their relationship is ‘hotting up quickly’.

The singer flew to New York from London in time to spend a special day and night with the supermodel, pictured, as The Sun reported that she ‘warned the One Direction star not to get too clingy’.

Speaking to the publication over the weekend, a source said: ‘Naomi has told Liam she is enjoying having fun but that is all she is ready for at the moment. She has said she found him a bit too clingy and full-on and does not want a committed relationship at this stage.’

They continued: ‘He accepted it but was a bit crushed. He is in awe of her and is finding it tough that she is so strong-willed and the one in control.

‘Liam seems to be a bit of a puppy dog around her and friends have warned him that it’s a car crash waiting to happen.’

The claims comes after friends now say that their romance is ‘hotting up quickly’ and they are hoping that it lasts. The couple had a quiet Valentine’s together at Naomi’s New York flat, where Liam, 25, was spotted leaving on Friday.

One source said: ‘They had a great time together on Valentine’s Day. It was just the two of them. They made sure they surprised one another.’

It is understood that they are ‘besotted’ with one another and that Liam, who previously dated Cheryl, ‘cannot believe his luck’ that he is romancing Naomi.

MailOnline have contacted representatives for Liam and Naomi for comment.
