VIRGIL van Dijk, who has been a rock for Liverpool at the back this season, is suspended for the first leg of this Champions League last-16 tie at Anfield, and is sure to be a major loss. With Joe Gomez also injured, the Reds will be hoping that the likes of Joel Matip and Fabinho can step up to the plate and Alisson has a faultless performance in goal against the German giants. They’ll have to contend with the always-dangerous Robert Lewandowski and James Rodriguez. However, Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp (pictured) will be boosted by Bayern’s omission of Franck Ribery, Thomas Müller and Arjen Robben from their squad through either injury or suspension. Kick-off is at 8pm.
