It wasn’t meant to Bea as Sheen moves on in love

MICHAEL Sheen has sparked up a new romance with an actress 25 years his junior, months after splitting from Irish comedian Aisling Bea.

Since May this year, the actor, 50, has been romancing Swedish aspiring actress Anna Lundberg, 25, pictured right, with the pair going Instagram official that month.

Anna, who bills herself as a ‘Swedish/NYC actress currently living in the UK’, shared a series of loved-up snaps with Michael as she accompanied him to the New York screening and London world premiere of his new show, Good Omens.

Sheen is famous for his roles in Masters of Sex, The Twilight Saga and Frost/Nixon, among other projects. He has been nominated for a clutch of awards including a Bafta, an Emmy and a Screen Actors Guild award.

According to Anna’s website, she completed a three-year theatre programme in Sweden, followed by summer courses at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the Guildford School of Acting. She also attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.

Although she is yet to hit the big time, she has appeared in productions of Othello and Spring Awakening.

Sheen’s last romance was with Kildare native Bea, 35, pictured above, from April 2018 to early this year.

Bea and Sheen were spotted at the Olivier Awards in London in April, although they didn’t arrive together or walk the red carpet.

An onlooker said: ‘They stayed close all evening and Michael leaped to her defence when a reveller smashed a glass near her, making sure she was OK.’

Bea, whose mother is a former jockey and late father was a vet, splits her time between Los Angeles and London, and has previously featured in BBC show Trollied and the Netflix Comedy Lineup. Before dating the actress, Sheen had a four-year romance with comedian Sarah Silverman.
