JUDGE RINDER is the latest host to take the reins of a topical comedy programme, and it’s high time there was a new face fronting a late-night chat show (apologies to Ryan Tubridy, Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross). The barrister and one-time Strictly contestant (pictured) is nothing if not smart and straight-talking, and it’s unlikely he’ll be pussyfooting around the current state of the world. Joining him in the studio will be celebrity guests – beginning with the aforementioned Jonathan Ross and comedians Tom Allen and Judi Love – for what promises to be a sharp and informed look at the week gone by.
