Louis gives Cheryl lip to reignite feud

-

LOUIS Walsh has reignited his feud with Cheryl by accusing her of ‘lip-syncing’ and suggesting that she audition for new series of The X Factor: Celebrity.

The Mayo pop mogul, 67, previously claimed he had ended his decade-long war of words with the singer, 36, after several on-air rows while they both were on the panel for the talent show.

But Louis has now stoked the fire once again with a new dig, poking fun at the Fight For This Love hitmaker’s vocal talents and suggesting she ‘lip-syncs for her life’.

Speaking at the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year awards, Louis said about Cheryl possibly returning to The X Factor: ‘X Factor as a contestant? As a contestant she would be good. I don’t know if she could win.’

He added: ‘She doesn’t mime. It’s called lip-syncing... lip-sync for your life.’

His comments come after he said in January 2018 that he had ended his ten-year feud with Cheryl.

Louis – who also confessed that fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger, 41, is his favourite – told The Sun: ‘If Cheryl comes back that’s fine. Look, we would agree to disagree on certain things but that’s what makes it good. We all get on.’

In one of their most famous fights, Louis teased the former Girls Aloud singer for being ‘orange’, to which she responded that he was ‘looking for attention’.

In another incident on the judging panel, the Cheryl criticised Louis for ‘taking the cheques’ during her time in Girls Aloud.

Louis quipped back: ‘I am a much better manager than she is a singer.’

Cheryl’s representative was contacted for comment, but had not responded at the time of going to print.
