LET your children play outdoors — it may make them brighter. A new study led by researchers at the University of Granada in Spain involving 2,500 ten-year-olds found that brain scans of those who played outdoor sports and did team activities have more white matter and better connections in their brain, associated with improved mental ability and faster reaction times.
