NEW ADVICE FOR THE ELDERLY
Over-70s are advised to limit their time outdoors Go shopping at designated times Outdoor exercise is advised during set times only Stay in small groups
Watch your social distancing Avoid public transport Attending Mass is allowed Exercise judgment on your own situation
They are allowed to staycation but hotels are not advised
LIMITS ON INDOOR AND OUTDOOR EVENTS: WEDDINGS GET 50 MAX
All outdoor events will be limited to 15 people, down from 200
All indoor events will be limited to six people, down from 50
Weddings will be exempt from new indoor restrictions – with 50 attendees allowed Places of worship will be allowed to go ahead with
events of 50 people as long as they maintain social distance
Pubs and restaurants will also be exempt from the new indoor and outdoor restrictions
Gastro-pubs and restaurants will be given until 11.30pm to close – an extension of a half hour from the previous restrictions
SPORTS
No spectators will be permitted at sports matches
All sports are permitted as long as they have no spectators.
Summer camps can continue but should be limited to the same group of 15 children
WORKING FROM HOME
Anyone who can work from home is advised to do so until at least September 13
STRICTER CONTROL ON PUBS
New powers will be considered for gardaí to crack down on pubs flouting restrictions
The Government will consider the reopening of ‘wet’ pubs at the end of August
HOUSE PARTIES
