UNITED SNAP UP PORTO DEFENDER TELLES FOR £15.4m
■ MANCHESTER UNITED have agreed a £15.4million deal with Porto to sign full back Alex Telles. The 27-year-old was due to link up with Brazil yesterday but received the call to travel to Manchester for his medical today. Telles (right) will sign a five-year contract and will be joined today by Penarol winger Facundo Pellistri, 18, who United are signing for £10m. Telles’s arrival has prompted Southampton to ask about Brandon Williams.
■ TOTTENHAM are expecting a last-ditch £6m loan offer from Paris Saint-Germain for unsettled Dele Alli today. Spurs are adamant that the 24-year-old is staying but the fact he is on the periphery of Jose Mourinho’s plans has given PSG encouragement. Ryan Sessegnon is joining Hoffenheim on loan while Juan Foyth has signed a new contract with Spurs until 2023 and joined Villarreal for the season.
■ ARSENAL midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is set to sign for Hertha Berlin on loan. Arsenal have enquired about Hertha defender Omar Rekik, 18.
■ BAYERN MUNICH re-signed Douglas Costa from Juventus after being rebuffed in their bid to take Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan from Chelsea. Out-of-favour central defender Antonio Rudiger has loan interest from PSG and AC Milan as he considers a move away. Inter want to re-sign Victor Moses from Chelsea and Napoli are signing Blues midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko on loan.
■ EVERTON misfit Moise Kean had a medical in Paris yesterday ahead of joining PSG. The loan does not include an option to buy the striker.
■ LEEDS have agreed a £21m deal with Rennes for Brazilian winger Raphinha, 22. Left back Barry Douglas is wanted by Watford and Blackburn.
■ FULHAM are pushing to sign two centre backs. They remain in talks with Barcelona for Jean-Clair Todibo, have asked Lyon about Joachim Andersen and discussed a loan for PSV Eindhoven’s Timo Baumgartl. Sampdoria’s Omar Colley is another option. They have asked for Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea but also want Mathias Normann from Rostov while Galatasaray intend to sign Jean-Michael Seri on loan.
■ BARCELONA have offered £13.6m for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia. But City want £18m for the 19-year-old.
■ WEST HAM have enquired about Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah after Marseille’s Duje Caleta Car turned them down. Watford’s Craig Dawson is also an option. Anderlecht are in talks to buy West Ham midfielder Josh Cullen for £800,000.
■ ASTON VILLA have revived talks for Werder Bremen forward Milot Rashica, 24.
■ WOLVES have signed Rayan Ait-Nouri on loan from Angers. The left back, 19, will make the move permanent for £18m at the end of the season. Ruben Vinagre is joining Olympiakos.
