D’oh! Moment a greedy gull stole my doughnut
SHE was attempting to take an arty seaside picture of her doughnut. But Emmie Holdrick was in for a shock when a seagull swooped and swiped it from her hand.
When she examined her mobile phone, the 29-year-old nurse realised she had inadvertently captured the entire incident on her camera. Ms Holdrick, who had been taking photos for her Instagram account on Paignton seafront in Devon, England, last week, said: ‘I wasn’t shocked as it’s not the first time a seagull has stolen my food.
When I got home I noticed I caught the whole thing on camera.
‘The seagulls here are so brazen. There are always lots hovering around the beach, especially where people are eating. Luckily we bought five doughnuts so I did manage to eat one or two.’
