Pair broke quarantine rules... by having a holiday ‘threesome’

- By Neil Sears

A COUPLE have been taken to court in Barbados for flouting virus rules – after allegedly hosting a threesome at their hotel.

Andrew Luker and Julia Knightley had sneaked a woman into their luxury hotel room in the middle of the night. But the liaison fell foul of the country’s strict coronavirus rules on socialising, it was claimed.

And when police heard the tourists had reportedly staged a threesome on their patio, they rushed to act.

Company director Mr Luker and beautician Ms Knightley, 41, have now been fined €2,400 each for their breach of Covid restrictions. However, while they admitted breaking quarantine rules, they suggested their meeting with a Jamaican woman in the middle of the night was not as steamy as claimed.

They were simply entertaining a guest, who had got into the complex by climbing over the wall at 2am, they said.

Asked about the police report claiming they were all seen having sex together, Mr Luker, 46, said: ‘It didn’t happen, mate. It was all misconstrued.’ Ms Knightley is a mother of four who hit the headlines five years ago for posing for risqué shots to promote her cosmetics clinic. She was criticised for the pictures and apologised for appearing unprofessional. The pair, from the UK, had travelled to Barbados for a New Year’s break amid a toughening of Covid rules and a rise in cases on the Caribbean island. A security guard at the luxurious Treasure Beach hotel was the one to raise the alarm, claiming he saw the threesome. The pair were fined a total of €4,900 and were warned that they would be j ailed f or nine months if they did not pay within seven days. They were due to fly home today but it is not clear if they have yet secured the funds.
