CHAMPIONS CUP BOOTROOM

-

LEINSTER v TOULON RDS, 5.30pm.

TEAM NEWS: Johnny Sexton has recovered from his HIA in the Pro14 final win over Munster last weekend to lead Leinster from out-half. James Lowe comes onto the wing for Dave Kearney while Tadhg Furlong and Ryan Baird (left) are included in an all-Irish international pack. Toulon are missing Louis Carbonel at 10 with versatile Australian Duncan Paia’aua slotting into the playmaking role. The visitors will also be without the suspended Ma’a Nonu following his red card in their Top14 hammering by Lyon last weekend when they were without their France stars. However, Toulon are bringing a monster pack to Dublin 4, including Springbok behemoth Eben Etzebeth in the second row, with France captain Charles Ollivon in the backrow alongside Italy veteran Sergio Parisse. LAST MEETING DEC 2015: Leinster 16 Toulon 20 VERDICT: Leinster WHY? Toulon are well stacked with talent but not as well as their opponents who will relish home advantage (even without supporters) and should have too much for a side whose primary focus is on the Top14.
