Home alone no more

THE arrival of Macaulay Culkin’s first child might make some of us feel very old – though for me, the actor’s bombshell ‘I am 40’ tweet last year performed that trick quite spectacularly – but the new baby does seem like an elusive happy ending for the child star, right, who went through a whole range of problems after his early career. And young Dakota Culkin – named after the actor’s 29-year-old sister, who was killed in a car crash – will at least ensure that for the next few years, Macaulay will rarely be home alone again.
