It’s going to be warm ... but wet!

- Irish Daily Mail Reporter

APRIL will continue to make a bit of a splash – but things are heating up a little.

While we’ll get a change from the chilly conditions, anyone eager to explore the great outdoors should keep an umbrella to hand.

Today will start dry and sunny but cloud will increase by the afternoon, with a few light showers breaking out in places. Highest temperatures will reach 10C to 14C.

It will be another bright and mainly dry day tomorrow with sunny spells. However, again, isolated showers will develop in the east and southeast through the afternoon.

While the coming days are to be mixed, conditions will deteriorate at the weekend.

Saturday will be a cloudy day, with forecasts suggesting that rain and drizzle will spread across the western half of the country, while much of the east will hold dry. Current indications suggest that rain and drizzle will affect most areas on Sunday and Monday.
