As mum-of-4 Abbey tones up her tum

AS Rachel Riley has form when it comes to cryptic announcements on the Countdown board, this puzzle may not be difficult to decipher.

The Channel 4 game show star used the word jumble to say she is expecting a second child, just as she did to announce her first pregnancy.

The 35-year-old shared a photo of herself and the letters FITTRILEY on the board, an anagram for ‘fertility’, while cradling her baby bump yesterday.

She wrote: ‘A special teatime teaser! And your clue is... Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her. And it’ll only get worse till autumn!’

Ms Riley and her dancer husband Pasha Kovalev, 41, already have a daughter, Maven, born in December 2019.

Her social media post added: ‘Happy, happy days for our little family Pasha Kovalev and future big sister Mave.’

The mathematician announced she was expecting Maven that year with a photo of the board spelling out R TINY MATE, an anagram for ‘maternity’.

Ms Riley met Kovalev on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. The couple married in Las Vegas in 2019.
