‘I’LL STAY IN CARAVAN TO QUARANTINE’

‘I’M an essential worker for the HSE and didn’t want to spend two weeks in a hotel. I’m fully vaccinated and travelled to California for a funeral and to move my parents to a retirement community.

‘I found out that the US and France would be added to the list on Friday night, so my husband helped to rebook my flights, .

‘The thought about been stuck in a hotel and having to pay for it was very scary.

‘There was hardly anyone on my flight from Los Angeles to Paris, but the trip from Paris to Dublin was full.

‘I have a caravan set up at my home in Sligo where I’m going to quarantine for two weeks. If people have a plan in place there’s no reason why they can’t just quarantine at home.’
