NADINE Coyle has claimed she was visited by her late friend Sarah Harding’s spirit while she was shooting her new RTÉ show.

The women became close friends during their time in the pop group Girls Aloud.

Tragically, Sarah died from breast cancer at the age of 39, on September 5 of this year.

Derry native Nadine, 36, yesterday opened up about her death, claiming her bandmate’s spirit visited

‘We definitely lost a great one’

her while she was filming Last Singer Standing, a new singing show coming to RTÉ One.

When asked by Ryan Tubridy on his RTÉ Radio 1 show how things had been since Sarah’s passing, Nadine admitted it’s been ‘awful’.

The singer added that since Sarah was diagnosed, it has been a ‘really traumatic’ time.

‘It’s just a cruel, cruel disease. I know many people suffer with it and I wish them all the best. We definitely lost a great one there,’ Nadine added. She explained that because of her close relationship with Sarah ‘in life’, she knew her spirit was going to visit her.

‘She’s definitely made her presence felt a few times,’ she said.

Sarah died while Nadine was shooting Last Singer Standing.

A couple of days after she had died Nadine’s headphones flew across a table while she was having her make-up done.

‘This happened three days in a row, just fully across [the table] in hair and make-up,’ she revealed.

‘I thought: “It has to be Sarah, there’s no other reason why they would fly so far.”

‘Then I was talking about her one night in my house and something went flying off a shelf.

‘I was like: “Is that Sarah? Is she just throwing stuff?” But stuff was flying around, so I was thinking [it could be Sarah] but I’m not sure.’
