Kinahan pal set up name and shame ‘rats’ website

-

A HIGH-ranking member of the Kinahan cartel created a subscription website to name and shame other criminal ‘rats’, leaked documents showed.

It has been revealed that suspected hitman John Francis Morrissey travelled to Panama in 2009 to set up a bank account that would receive money from his website, ‘TheRatBook.com’.

The close friend of Daniel Kinahan was transported from the airport by a courtesy car, belonging to the disgraced law firm Mossack Fonseca.

TheRatBook.com, which was active for just over a year, declared itself as the UK’s ‘leading name and shame’ website.

According to an excerpt seen by the Irish Daily Mail, The Rat Book is designed to expose paedophiles, abusers, rapists, perverts, violent criminals, and terrorists across the UK.

‘We believe that you have the right to know about criminals living and operating in your area,’ the site stated.

On April 11, the US Treasury Department described Irishman Morrissey, who lives in the Costa del Sol, as an ‘enforcer’ for the Kinahan crime group.
