Laura Brennan: This Is Me, RTÉ Player

LAURA BRENNAN was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016. Radiation and chemotherapy led to a positive prognosis, and she was declared cancer-free in June 2017. But just three months later the cancer returned and Laura was told her condition was untreatable. She used her illness to become a spokeswoman for health advocacy and this documentary reveals how she championed the vaccination against cervical cancer, and urged young women to participate in the CervicalCheck programme.
