FOORD FIESTA SETS UP FINAL DAY SHOWDOWN

-

THE Women’s Super League title race will go to the final day after Arsenal beat Tottenham 3-0 last night to move a point behind leaders Chelsea. Beth Mead scored after four minutes before a second-half brace from Caitlin Foord. Spurs’ Angela Addison missed a late penalty. Chelsea will win the title if they beat Manchester United on Sunday, but any slip-up could let in Arsenal, who host West Ham. Meanwhile, Birmingham’s 20-year stay in the top flight ended as they lost 6-0 at Manchester City.
