Conversations in the ‘Rooneyverse’

CONVERSATIONS with Friends star Alison Oliver, left, has revealed that fellow Sally Rooney alumni Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones advised her to ‘just enjoy’ the experience, as ‘we are all part of the Rooneyverse’. I’m cheered by their camaraderie – but in the week that’s in it, I must admit that I initially thought the ‘Rooneyverse’ referred to a very different, and even more dramatic, world.
